4:2:2 video problem

is playing only audio and video remaign black screen.

ffdshow as MPEG2 video decoder is able to handle almost all 4:2:2 video.

 

After installation (32 bit version for DVBViewer!) launch the ffdshow Video Decoder Configuration from the Windows start menu, go to the Codecs page and select libavcodec for MPEG2. Finally launch DVBViewer and select ffdshow as MPEG2 Video Decoder on Options -> DirectX.

i dont have this choice.have only this:

Make sure the 32 Bit ffdshow version ist installed. DVBViewer can't use the 64 bit version.

I've tried. It still can't play all my 4:2:2 samples. Only some of them (two out of four). ffdshow plays them all.

..at least with H.264 you have to deactivate hardware acc.

the problem is now is playing video and after 7-8 sec is freeze and play again. only the video have this probem the audio is play fine

the video is freeze after play a couple se and start again.

if you can watch at least for short moment, directshow should be ok. I guess your problems come the encryption of the feed. -> no discussion here.

for 4:2:2 the video decoder is the important part

 

read the wiki and post a support.zip

Usually Custom EVR is the best choice for DVBViewer Pro, particularly for OSD display.

 

However, the Video Renderer has no influence on whether 4:2.2 can be played or not. It's the job of the Video Decoder.
