Hauppauge WinTV Quad HD

Hello,

 

First I just want to say that I'm very satisfied by DVBViewer I use it for 3 years now and have never had any problems.

 

Now I would like to replace my current card Hauppauge WinTV HVR 2200 (DVB-T) by the Hauppauge WinTV Quad HD (DVB-T & T2)

 

I searched the forum and DVBViewer.com ---> "Supported DVB Device" and I have not found the WinTV Quad HD. I have not found either my current card (WinTV 2200) that it works very well.

 

So my question before I buy this card, it is supported by DVBViewer ?

Hallo Indy Syn,

 

i have bought the Hauppauge WinTV Quad HD (DVB-T & T2) and the card is working very well with my DVBViewer installation. Its running under Windows 10. I get all programs, also the new DVB-T2 HD !

 

But on the motherboard i use, the card is only working in the large PCIexpress Slot (PCI x16).

I have first installed the card in the small PCIexpress Slot (PCI x1) and there the Hardware was not detected. But this is not a problem with DVBViewer but with my motherboard.

 

So if buy the card, test the installation in both PCI Slots !
