How do I set up a channel to watch the sky signal I have?

I am using DVBViewer and can pick up all freeview channels using dvb-t2 but would like to be able to watch sky TV which is sent from my sky box, how do I set this up?

How is the sky box sending the channels unencrypted in you network?

Which streaming format is the box using?

 

Or are you talking about a TV card with CI and CAM which decrypts the channels?

I have a TV tuner card that's picking up a signal from the RF out port of the sky box that gets sent around the house

This this is mostly a analog signal.

The DVBViewer doesn't support analog signals. Even if you TV card supports analog input.

 

In this case you would need a different software (mostly the one bundled with the TV card)

Oh ok, sorry for my ignorance, I was looking for another program as the one bundled with my card I was having trouble with and DVBViewer seemed like a good alternative. Thanks for your help
