Volume control problem

Hi there,

 

I just noticed a huge problem with the DVBV volume control. It seems it controls the OS wave volume. Which is pretty bad, since sometimes you want to turn down the TV sound but listen to something else.

you should use "directsound" instead of "wave out" for your output device

Well, did you select wave as output device? You should only use Directsound output.

I had it set to NVIDIA nForce Audio, which seems to have the same effect. Thanks for the Tip.

nForce Directsound or nForce Wavesound? Which one you set?

That's seem the same with nforce chipsets. Only if you choose "default wave out" you get the problems.
