videogamingtown Posted January 26, 2019 Share Posted January 26, 2019 Whenever i record a marathon on iptv using instant recording, the incorrect time shows when playing back in vlc or DVBViewer. I could record a tv marathon for 6 hours overnight and it shows 54 mins when playing back? im pretty sure there might be errors at times due to it being iptv however it is relatively stable most of the time despite my lower broadband speed. and when im playing back the file it seems to be working fine. The only problem is i cannot seek to a later point in the video. Quote Link to comment

Most likely the time stamps in the broadcasted video are wrongly jumping forward/backward. You can try to re-record the file with TSPlayer (see download area -> tools section) and Conversion -> Time stamp continuity correction ticked. Please read more about it here and here.
