helbu Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I'm using DVBViewer with a Skystar 2. With some stations (NDR, CNN) the sound has a much higher frequency (Mickey Mouse effect). A channel search did not help. When I use version 2.2, which is still installed, everything is ok. Is there a solution for this problem? Quote
Hartwig Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 The Problem is the change of the audio format (mono/stereo). Use the same audio decoder like in 2.2 (moonlight odigo decoda is also a god one) or use the option detect audio format automatically. Quote

The old version had no problems, but on EuroNews I had the Mickey Mouse tone. The solution was to disable the option "detect audio format automatically" and choose the audio decoder manually. Which audio decoder depends on your system. Quote
