aydan Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Hi there, 3.0 is very impressive, but I found some stuff that disturbed me: 1. pressing OSD exit when there's no OSD open will put DVBV in slumbermode (tried this with diffent key assignments) 2. missing +/-10 +/-60 second jumps (I liked those to quickly skim over commercials) the new mechanism has it's advantages too, but it's pretty useless for quick searches where you want to see a pic inbetween. 3. numpad and cursor keys won't work for changing teletext pages 4. no picture while paused (pausing from live doesn't even show the "pause" message) plus two suggestions: 1. context sensitive key assignments 2. OSD setup should use a treeview Quote
Guest Lars_MQ Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 1. pressing OSD exit when there's no OSD open will put DVBV in slumbermode(tried this with diffent key assignments) Yeah known and corrected in upcoming 3.01. 3. numpad and cursor keys won't work for changing teletext pages Use Channel-0 to Channel-9 (mayby map them onto the numpad). 4. no picture while paused (pausing from live doesn't even show the "pause" message) Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. 1. context sensitive key assignments We tested it and it would add a lot of confusion and problems, if user done, so we assigned keys contextsensitive internally where it made sense. 2. OSD setup should use a treeview Erm which of the setuppages do you mean? lars Quote
aydan Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 The old version kept the current picture when pausing, the new one doesn't, at least not on my PC. Also if you press pause while watching live (w/o timeshift), the "Pause" message doesn't show up. For the OSD thing I meant the OSD menu page. Bye Aydan Quote

aydan Posted March 1, 2005 Author Posted March 1, 2005 I'm using VMR9 cuz transparency don't work with overlay. Quote
