Mackshot Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Hello, first i wanna say, i like all the new functions in DVBViewer. but i found an annoying bug. DVBViewer cant correctly play mp3 files with an high data rate, like 384 ... the sounds dont play clear.... i think my pc is not the problem: 3000mhz, 1gb ram .... hd-tv with no problems! is it a bug in the software? maybe i am too stupid! please help Quote
Guest Oliver Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 It's more likely the problem is caused by an audio decoder. Bye, Oliver Quote
Mackshot Posted March 1, 2005 Author Posted March 1, 2005 i tested it and you are right,... i think it would be nice to select an audio decoder for mp3-playback seperatly... because the cyberlink coded is for me in TV-Mode the best, but it is bad for mp3 playback ... Quote
Mackshot Posted March 11, 2005 Author Posted March 11, 2005 im sorry, but i have no idea how to change the mp3 playing codec. at the moment DVBViewer used intervideo audio decoder,... and i have a massivly bopping problem. so my question is how to change the mp3 playing codec?... can anybody help me!? Guest Lars_MQ Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Simply change the audio decoder in options -> directX Quote
Mackshot Posted March 11, 2005 Author Posted March 11, 2005 in the optionsmenu at direct x i choose cyberlink audio decorder, but when i play is in filterview only the intervideo audio decoder ....... in the optionsdialog the cyberlink already is selected. i try the nero audio decoder and its the same!!!... there is always the intervideo audio decoder choosen for playing my mp3files .... any help? what can i do? do you want to see any screenshots? Griga Posted March 11, 2005 Posted March 11, 2005 Simply change the audio decoder in options -> directX Doesn't affect MP3 playback (something that should be changed in DVBViewer? I'm not quite sure...). So the InterVideo is used as default decoder. Unfortunately the InterVideo Audio can't cope with MP3, though it claims to be able to (which should be changed for sure, but by InterVideo). Things that you can try: - Unregister the InterVideo Audio Decoder, if you don't want/need it. - Lower the InterVideo's merit value, so that another decoder becomes the MP3 default decoder For doing this you'll need the RadLight Filter Manager Download Instructions - Download and install the Elecard Decoder Package. It contains the Moonlight Odio Dekoda, which is able to decode MP3 and will probably override the InterVideo. The package is recommendable anyway. Read more about it here. OK, I hope that are enough links... Quote
Mackshot Posted March 12, 2005 Author Posted March 12, 2005 you really helped me ... i could solve this problem by using your informations. i was happy listening to my mp3s and think about to watching a dvd. it put it into the dvd-drive and was very happy about the screen who ask me, if i want to play the dvd. very happy i pressed YES... but then ((( ... i only see the visualplugins ... no dvd picture ... what going on? filter says: cyberlink video and audio .. i think they have to work, because they are from cyberlink powerdvd 6 ... now i am total confused ... i played something with your graphchanger ... but no success .... i would be very happy, if you could help me again!
