goldfinger21 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 When using Media Server 2.1.7.2 with DVBViewer 6.1.7.2 on Win 11 (Floppydtv S2 bda) getting occasional video and audio errors yet when removing media server and using DVBViewer directly for recordings no errors. Any advice to remedy this, would be very grateful. Quote

You have provided only little information. At least an attached support.zip would be required. Quote
goldfinger21 Posted April 26, 2024 Author Posted April 26, 2024 (edited) Thanks for reply. Tried latest versions as well but even worse errors on latest media server. On my old Win 10 machine had no issues with same setup. Transferred my floppydtv to my new Win 11 machine and getting these occasional errors with mainly audio frame sync errors (when editing .ts files with VideoRedo) but also video frame errors every now and then as well when using media server. Files are fine when using DVBViewer directly on its own. When you say more info do you want me to supply the support.zip after a media server recording is made. It contains (among other files) the svcdebug.log where errors are logged. A recording log (see Media Server Options -> Recordings -> Write log file) may also be useful. However, it is not included in the support.zip and must be attached additionally. Quote
goldfinger21 Posted May 9, 2024 Author Posted May 9, 2024 Decided to try numerous things myself before posting a support.zip as I started to get a few errors on even direct recordings after removing media server including different firewire drivers, sat card drivers, win re-install and testing different channels. What eventually appeared to be the problem was me using the old configuration folder from my previous pc to wave on having to set everything up again. Started a from scratch new install with a new scan of channels and no errors so far thankfully. Will update if that changes. Quote
JGrob Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Hello goldfinger21, your problem seems to be similar or related to my problem "DVBViewer Media Server erzeugt Discont. Fehler...". Just have a look here: DVBViewer Media Server erzeugt Discont. Fehler wenn "Video-Fülldaten entfernen" konfiguriert ist Unfortunately i cant solve my problem so far. yours, JGrob Quote
