nicolasv Posted April 5, 2005 Posted April 5, 2005 (edited) Hi Oliver, I know we are running the unsupported DVBViewer-TE edition, but my question here is : is this fixed in the FULL version or not ? My Board is the Technisat AIRSTAR 2 (DVB-Terrestrial) , I'll describe more precisely the problem we have: My System runs either Windows 2000 SP4 with DX9, IE6, MP9, or Windows XP SP2 with DX9, IE6, MP10. When I install the driver and DVBViewer , this software returns the following error (for both windows): "Not able to find filter interface Audio/Video B2C2 MPEG2, error: 0x91000101 (Unknown Error Code)" Question: It looks like the installation of this DirectShow Filter failed, how can I repair it ? Sometimes, randomly, it displays a few images evrey seconds, and there is sound output randomly, in this case the GraphEdit gives the following "dvb random.bmp": But most of the time, when it is not working , the graph is the following: Question : Could you please let me know how to make it work correctly ? Thanks for your help ! Nicolas Edited April 5, 2005 by nicolasv Quote
nicolasv Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Hello, I finally made DVBViewer-TE work in Windows XP , but still 25% of the time, when zapping different channels , I get this error "Not able to find filter interface Audio/Video B2C2 MPEG2, error: 0x91000101 (Unknown Error Code)" it looks like the channel switching mechanism is not reliable and generates this error (which can be masked in the Options menu... but then I loose the fullscreen mode). So my main question today : is this fixed if I purchase the FULL version ? Also, do I have a chance to get the full version working with Windows 2000 ? Nicolas Quote
Guest Oliver Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 Why don't you just post the necessary information enumerated in the last paragraph of my link? Bye Quote
nicolasv Posted April 19, 2005 Posted April 19, 2005 Well, after lots of tries, I figured out that the SONIC DVD codec is just not installing/running properly in my system, so I trashed it and when I keep my PowerDVD setup it just runs fine (and much smoothly, no blocking effect). I'm afraid Technisat and you guys may just run into lots of these stupid questions related to codec error. Hope this will help others, Nicolas PS: Oliver, thanks for adding the tool in the last paragraph of your link ! I'll try it ! Quote
