Mp3 Playback (freeze)

hi there,

 

i got the following problem:

 

i start up DVBViewer - go to htpc mode - choose music - open my first folder - open the subfolder - choose the first file and press return. then DVBViewer freezes. i don't know why but some mp3 files work but some don't. i can't offer a lot of information to this bug but the following:

 

this is some information about the mp3 file (works fine in winamp):

Header found at: 1544 bytes

Length: 261 seconds

MPEG 1.0 layer 3

192kbit, 10041 frames

44100Hz Stereo

CRCs: No

Copyrighted: No

Original: Yes

Emphasis: None

 

my pc:

 

xp 1800+

512 mb ddr

xp sp2

audigy 2 zs

 

i put codec to auto but i installed the intervideo codec so i assume this one will be used.

Maybe this Thread can help you. You should try another audio decoder if possible.

My guess: it's a direcshow / decoder problem.
