Cannot find TS Stream if Play as a file is selected

I have an rtsp stream I've added to TS channel list via DVBViewer, however this will only work if I tick "Play as file". When I open Media Server the channel does not appear in the timeline, tv guide etc even if choosing All channels. I'm not sure if this is intentional to not include these if "Play as file" is selected for a channel?

RTSP is just a network protocol and may carry different content. DVBViewer can only handle it natively if it encapsulates a Sat>IP-like transport stream. "Play as file" lets DVBViewer use the file playback branch for it, so that other playback components (particularly the LAV source filter/splitter), that probably "understand" the content, have a chance to take over.

It is. Usually "Play as file" entries in the channel list are not true DVB channels. They don't have an EPG.  However, you can make them visible in the TV/Radio section of the Media Page by activating the tweak "Show channel list file entries in Media -> TV/Radio". Stop the Media Server and launch DMSTweaker.bat in the DVBViewer program directory. It opens a window with Media Server expert settings.
