Winlirc insinsts on using COM2

Hi all!

 

I'm using DVBViewer 3.0.

I tried to set up a new HTPC with just a remote control and no keyboard and mouse. Well to configure it I use both keyboard and mouse.

Every time I start it it says Winlirc failed to initialise. Then I press reconfigure, set it to COM1 - and it works!

But every time I restart the PC it comes up with the same message.

I tried to search the forum fro similar problems - but failed.

Why dows'nt it remember the setting?

It seems to execute ts_winlirc.exe in the DVBViewer directory.

Help is appreciated very much.

Problem solved.

I replaced ts_winlirc.exe by winlirc.exe. This works fine.

I'm still curious what's the difference between the ts_winlirc and winlirc.
