Removing timers created by search/disabling auto generate

I have a number of timers auto created by searches and can't find an option to remove them for when I refine the search term, or currently I need to sacrifice one recording for another due to limited number of cards.

 

What is the best way to remove timers and also stop them auto generating in the future?

Web Interface -> Timers page -> Either tick all the timers that you want to get rid of and click Delete, or deactivate the timers in question one by one by clicking the green button at the left. It provides a hint on mouse-over indicating from which source the timer originates.

Web Interface -> Search EPG page -> Select the search preset in question -> either untick "Auto-create recording timers" and click Save, or click Delete to remove the search preset completely.

 

Anyway, it may be worth thinking about a (future) function that optionally deletes/disables all timers generated by a certain search preset when it gets deleted or auto-creation gets disabled.

I've decided to do it this way:

 

 

The new "Delete Timers" button on the Search EPG page will be available in the next Media Server release.
