SasaSAT Posted January 21 Posted January 21 (edited) Yestrday i got cine 2 ver 6 installed everything OK and started scanning with DVBViewer and it stopped scanning after 2 3 transponders. Then I don't know I reinstalled or whatever I managed to scan 13E and 19E, so I said now I'll test and it worked for a few minutes at 80% signal and then stopped. And then somehow it started working again, I watched for about an hour and stopped working. So today it still doesn't work, I don't know what could be the power supply doesn't reach the motor at all (nothing lights up) when the channel in DVBViewer is pressed. Please any advice is maybe windows not giving permission to put trought or bios update or chipset update,DVBViewer updated in that time? Is there any chance that can see in system some reports what cousin issue to not getting power out off card? Or iff can test in some virtual linux etc? That same hapend with my dvbsky s950c after august windows update chipset bios, reverse nothing help. Hope my motherboard not started screw dvb cards or else. I know that windows is screw us with dvb cards Edited January 21 by SasaSAT Quote
Griga Posted January 22 Posted January 22 vor 20 Stunden schrieb SasaSAT: cine 2 ver 6 Digital Devices Cine S2 V6 cards have an additional floppy power connector. Please read more about it in the Cine S2 V6 installation manual. Search in the (English) PDF for floppy. The additional power supply must be connected if the power supplied by the PCIe slot is not sufficient, particularly if a LNB or motor needs more than 5W. I'm quite sure that it is necessary in your case. You may need a cable like this for connecting the power supply of your PC to the Cine S2 card. Quote
SasaSAT Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 Its connected, most my cards did work with or without another power.Thats no isue. Quote

Maybe the tuner log that can be created in the DDControlCenter tool (see C:\Program Files\DigitalDevices\DVB-Utils) contains something about it. You can also contact the Digital Devices support and ask what you can do. I'm not really able to help, because it is no DVBViewer issue. Quote
SasaSAT Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 Checked today with another cable it gives 13v and 18v out will need check cable to the roof and,redo/check F connectors Quote
SasaSAT Posted January 24 Author Posted January 24 The cable was bent in one part and as the wind swayed it left and right, it probably cracked, probably the copper. I shortened it and now everything works. Thanks for your understanding and all your advice for everything else. Best regards from Saša. Quote
