ardee
I've just got my Skystar 2 card working, and am now starting to find out what it can do. I have no use for Internet via broadband, SETUP/SERVER4PC, or the symbol in the task tray associated with it. Can I safely get rid of all this and just leave DVBViewer working. If so, how? Hartwig
you must install the technisat software. But after that, you can remove Setup/Server4PC from autostart and disable all network protokols and services from your skystar. Quote Link to comment
ardee
Thanks for the replies. I find that if I remove server4PC from the startup menu, DVBViewer does not work. Is there a way of only running what is necessary for DVBViewer, and nothing else? Quote Link to comment
Guest Oliver
Usually the Technisat software only needs to be installed, not running. At least you don't need Setup4PC to run in the background. Bye Quote Link to comment
ardee
I've tried again, and I can run the full version without Server4PC in the startup folder but not the free version, so the problem is solved, thanks. Quote Link to comment
