Hi,

Can someone explain how to do a cable scan for the Belgian cable provider Telenet ?

Frequency: 290000kHz

Modulation: 256-QAM

Symbolrate: 6789

Network-ID: 32 (Flanders and Flemish-Brussels)

If I want to do a cable scan it does not provde to entering a Network-ID.

Nor does it find anything if I scan the 290MHz 256QAN Symbr.6789

Do you think it still posible to scan with DVBViewer please let me now.

The hardware I use is a USB device TechniSat CableStar Combo HD CI.

Software DVBViewer DEMO 7.3.1.0

Maybe you have to use Symbolrate: 6875

https://wiki.openpli.org/Cable:Telenet

of course I meant 6875 it was a typo.
I would correct this but I can not edit my post.
Thanks anyway !

Already tried that, no results.

Thanks.

I'm starting to suspect the TechniSat drivers.
Now I'm going to test the AzureWave drivers, according to someone in the forum they should work.
Unfortunately the Terratec H7 BDA drivers don't work for the CableStar Combo HD CI although the CableStar is a clone of Terratec I believe.

Yes, I have already tried that without success.

Also installed another driver from AzureWave 7070 without luck. http://xxxxxxxxxxxx/download/files/AzureWave_30.08.2010.rar

These drivers where reported as a workaround for the CableStar Combo HD CI device.

It's strange as all seems to be okay no errors but it seems not to be scanning for some reason.
Tested on two different laptops with Windows 7 x64 and no USB 3.0 since these drivers gives issues with USB 3.0 ports so it works best on USB 2.0 ports.

Don't know what else I can try to get it to work.
