Help needed with DiSEqC motor and multiple tuners.

Hello, I have been using a DVBSky card for years connected directly to my DiSEqC motor, and it works great without issue.

This week I added a TBS card to my PC with an additional 2x DVB-S2 tuners. These Tuners are connected directly to the LNB and not the motor.

It seems DVBViewer is trying to use a tuner on the TBS card when I move from 28.2e to 19.2e but as these tuners are not connected to the motor it doesn't work.

Is there someway to tell DVBViewer to only use the DVBSky card when moving between satellite positions?

There is no specific "on orbital position change" tuner allocation mechanism. However, you can influence the order of tuner usage. It depends on the tuner order in the Settings -> Options -> Hardware -> Devices list. DVBViewer always allocates the first unoccupied tuner from the top that is usable for the selected channel. In your case the "TBS 6902 DVBS/S2 Tuner 1" is in the "pole position", so it is used with priority.

You can change the order by dragging the list entries with the mouse. I think the best would be to move the DVBSky "Professional DVB Digital TV DVBS2" tuner to the top (followed by OK/Apply), so it is used first, and the TBS tuners only if the DVBSky tuner is already occupied.

You can also bind channels to a specific tuner by using channel groups. More about it on demand.
