Retrofan Posted May 25 Posted May 25 (edited) Hello, please add the attached internet radio channellist for NL to the next release of DVBViewer Pro which I collected with this search engine: https://streamurl.link/ Internetradio - NL.m3u Edited May 25 by Retrofan Quote
Griga Posted May 26 Posted May 26 vor 16 Stunden schrieb Retrofan: please add the attached internet radio channellist for NL to the next release of DVBViewer Pro Thanks for your contribution. but internet radio lists are not added as M3U, but as INI with a filename beginning with 6500_ indicating the reception type. See C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBViewer\Default\Channels for examples. Furthermore each channel should be tuned at least once, letting the DVBViewer channel auto update complete the channel data. Otherwise it may be confusing for unexperienced users, e.g. because the channels initially appear in a video section of their channel list and have to be tuned for moving them to the audio section. DVBViewer can't know what it is if it gets nothing but a URL like https://stream.tukkerfm.nl/tukkerfm and a channel name. The stream must be received for finding out. So there is still some work to do... Quote

Griga Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Your channel list could now be integrated in the DVBViewer setup for the next release, but there is one more point: Usually it is not sufficient to create such a list and then leave it alone. It must be maintained, because sometimes channels vanish or new channels appear, channel change their URL and so on. With other words: It needs updates. This is a lifelong task... Therefore a more flexible solution is to provide the list in the internet for download, e.g. in this forum in a pinned topic like the one for TransEdit here, so it always stays at the top, and you can update it by replacing the attachment whenever you want / need to. A good place for providing it would be here, with a short hint what it is and how it can be imported in DVBViewer. The internet channel lists shipped with DVBViewer are intended as example to show users that internet TV/radio is possible in DVBViewer and as initial aid for new users. Internet channel lists as part of the setup cause additional work for me. It takes time to keep the stuff well organized and up-to-date, and I would rather use this time for DVBViewer development. That's why I will remove 6500_Internet Radio (CZE).ini from the setup for the next release. It has never been updated by the original creator, and I guess it is pretty out-dated in the meantime.
