Szines Géza Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 (edited) Greetings! I don't know if this is a bug or feature! I just noticed (I don't know how long it's been like this.) that I can't switch between the main show and the secondary show sound while the picture is active. I could do this before with the F5 key (OSD Red), but now it is inactive! This is what happens: The main show is muted but the secondary sound does not appear! In this case you need to press 0 for switching between main window and PiP window audio. Press F8 (OSD Blue, context menu) and 1 while PiP is active for returning to normal mode, or 0 (Help) for getting more information. Quote
Szines Géza Posted June 20, 2025 Author Posted June 20, 2025 Even using the “0” key does not change the sound. In either mode. In "Keys Move Mode", the sound will be silenced for a second and then return to the main show sound. In "Normal Mode", the same thing happens as if I were using F5. (Or vice versa. Because it's not clear which mode is which!) I don't think it will be a control (key command) error. It's just that DVBViewer is not playing your audio! In the DirectX settings, everything is set to LAV Decoder (Video A-B. Audio A-B.) Quote
Griga Posted June 20, 2025 Posted June 20, 2025 Strange. It is no known DVBViewer issue, and I can't reproduce it here. So it may be due to special conditions on your PC or in your DVBViewer installation. Does it work with right-clicking the PiP window -> Picture in Picture Audio? Maybe an attached support.zip (after reproducing the issue in DVBViewer debug mode) will help to narrow the cause of the issue down. vor einer Stunde schrieb Szines Géza: (Or vice versa. Szines Géza Posted June 24, 2025 Author Posted June 24, 2025 No change. It works (not) the same with the mouse. I attach the support.zip! TV card name: TBS 6281 VGA: AMD 7900XTX I can also imagine that I might have changed something in the LAV filter. Can I reset it? support.zip Quote
Griga Posted June 25, 2025 Posted June 25, 2025 Looks like you haven't configured the playback components on Settings -> Options -> Picture in Picture yet, particularly on the Audio tab. The main window is using "4 - DENON-AVR" as audio renderer, while the Picture in Picture audio renderer is still "Default DirectSound Device", I guess. It refers to the audio output that is configured as default in Windows and is the general default setting in DVBViewer. Please check if the audio renderer selection for the main windows and/or the PiP window is causing the issue. Quote
Szines Géza Posted June 29, 2025 Author Posted June 29, 2025 None of the settings helped, but for the moment they are not important. I have reinstalled the player and the default settings have no such problem. If it comes up again, I will contact you. Thanks for your help! Quote
