cannot set tuner status

Cannot set tuner status (wrong settings)

error 0x90010115 (unknown error code)

 

I get this error when i try to switch the channels. (im using skystar2)

Is there anything else beside the normal installation i have to do to get DVBViewer to work ?

Can anyone help me ?

I had the same problem.

there are 100ts of posts all over the www...

write your hardware, your divers, your tryings to resolve,

 

heres a little how to start:

 

 

error overview:

- your signal is too low (check a normal receiver if possible, check cable, also cable length could be a problem)

- you don´t choose the right transponders (make a transponder search (that helps a lot of people out of this problem)

- your device is out of order (so as my)

 

check your signal:

use if no other possibility the setup4pc (is it green?)

if red-> choose right satelite (eg astra 19.e)

 

install newest drivers

 

if you checked this : post detailed again

I have the same problem

 

i'v got the new SkyStar 2 rev2.6.d card

there was CD with version 4.23 drivers

DVBViewer and MS Mediaplayer 9 inside the pack

 

first time I'v decided to do not instal it and tryed the 4.22 version drivers that i'v dowloaded somewere with TV4PC inside

 

the signal quality was yelow 25-30 and on some transponders even red 8-10

 

TV4PC worked w/o any problems , any programs showed w/o lost frames etc even those that are on red signal quality transponders

 

then I'v tryed to install that 4.23 drivers from the CD

 

this pack automatically installs MS Mediaplyer 9 DVBViewer(intergrated winlirk) and tuner setup Setup4PC

 

I'v setup the tuner

the signal quality on the same SAT on the same transponders was stable yellow and some are was green

 

so I'v runned the DVBViewer and got the subjected error message

 

I'v tryed to find what is wrong but nothing found decided to uninstal this 4.23 pack

and installed again 4.22

 

after that TV4PC was rejected to work too !

so I'v reimaged the PC and installed back the 4.22 pack and TV4PC is working by now.

 

 

so what may be the reason of this that TV4PC is working fine with low signal but DVB viwer is not? ofcourse if this low signal is the reason of problem.

after my post I'v installed all back (4.23) and runned the LogMPEGDecoder.exe

and this error message some time is not apperaring and i can see some programs on the signal 18 and 25

but it is unstable if i'm changing the chanel it may appear again

and disappear after restart

in any case there was no any problems with TV4PC but I'd like to use

DVBViewer :-)
