Theskels Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 I am using SkyStar 2 PCI and DVBViewer. Does anyone know if it is possible to use the BBC interactive services (press Red button). If so how is it done. Thank you Quote
Griga Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 if it is possible to use the BBC interactive services No. In which format are they broadcasted? MHP? Quote
boborg Posted June 13, 2005 Posted June 13, 2005 (edited) In Open-TV I think. You can scan the BBCi channels and watch them. You may need to adjust the pids manually for them to work. Edited June 13, 2005 by boborg Quote

I then go into Program management, to see if the BBC channels are shown (they are). The setting are all correct as per listings on Satcodx2. When I use DVBViewer and scan the satellite, it finds something like 650 stations, but only BSkyB, there are no BBC Channels in sight. I get excellent pictures on all the stations that are not encryted. being a novice is there something I am missing, it does state on a few Internet sites that free to air channels can be received with a simple receiver. Can anyone point me in the right direction, or am I chasing a lost cause? Quote
Griga Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Outdated transponder list, I suppose. Use the attached file, store it in DVBViewer\Transponders, and select it for scanning. Astra_28E.zip Quote

Are there sites where one can download the latest transponder lists, or is this something that you have to do yourself? Thanks once again, your help was much appreciated. Quote
