Looks ok and works here. What is the problem? What happens or does not happen?

What about the other CNN transmission on Astra 19.2° East, 11788 V? Download the attached file and drag & drop it into the DVBViewer Channel Editor, if you don't have it yet in your channellist.

Your ini does exactly the same thing. if Istart up with CNN it gives me a black screen. If I switch from another working channel it freezes that channel. Besides CNN I have 1 more channel that does that: A german channel: tele 5.

It all started when many german channels chose to only transmit in HD and I had to do a new scan. At the moment every channel works well, except those two. Very strange.

FEC=3/4

FEC=3/4 in channel.ini is invalid, there are just "whole numbers" allowed

TunerType=1
Root=Astra 19.2°E
Category=SES ASTRA
FEC=2

Change "FEC=3/4" in channel.ini to "FEC=2" this is the code for the "FEC 3/4" tuning parameter

it will be the same with Tele 5 that uses the "FEC 3/4" tuning parameter

Tried it without result.

Here is my CNN Int.ini

CNN Int..ini

The only difference is "Category=SES ASTRA" and "FEC=2"

I do not know if "Category=English" is your chose for a personal Category.

Give it a try.

You can control and change your settings even in Channellist-Editor, do not forget to press the "Apply" button.

I had it in a category called for 3 years and it worked. Lately I tried SES and English.

I don't really think the category makes any difference.

What would happen if I installed DVBViewer again without removing the existing one, like being a repair?

These three channels have one thing in common: They are located in the high band (frequency above 11700 MHz) and the polarisation is vertical. I'd check if other channels with these attributes, but other frequencies are also affected, e.g. MTV on 11973 V or Kabel  1 Austria on 12051 V. You can use the DVBViewer Channel Editor for testing, that displays the frequency and polarisation of the selected channel on its right side. A channel is tuned by double-clicking it.

Or even better: Use the scanner and analyzer tool TransEdit for testing. Download it from the members area, store TransEdit.exe in the DVBViewer program directory (where DVBViewer.exe is), select the Astra 19.2° East transponder list on the left side of the main window, a transponder (frequency) on the right side, and click "Scan Selected" for checking if it yields any results.

If certain combinations of the attributes low/high band (frequency below/above 11700 MHz) and vertical/horizontal polarisation cannot be received anymore, it may indicate a damaged outdoor equipment (LNB) or receiver.

You are right. It turns out that my receiver, a tbs 6902, has one input completely useless and the other one has this problem.

Thanks a lot for your help.
