My PC uses the built in video display of my Intel i7 processor. For some peverse reasoin I decided to go to search for updated drivers rather than just letting Windows Update look after it. New drivers were installed.

This morning I opened DVBViewer to a black screen, sound no picture.

Fortunately a web search showed mr how to roll back my Win 11 video driver and I got back my picture.

Newer is not always better.
