ARTE reception

Hi,

 

I have just installed DVBViewer full. I use it for ASTRA with a Skystar 2. I seem to have a problem with ARTE. The image freezes after a few seconds, whereas the other channels are fine (like TV5). Any ideas???

You should provide some more information, at least the decoders list from LogMPEGdecoders.exe.

If I use LogMPEGDecoder, I get this:

I use DVBViewer V3.1.0 with windows 2000 SP4.

 

Basically, most of the time I can view ARTE for 2 to 3 seconds before it freezes, sometimes to image at all. Other free channels seem to be fine. What do you need to know about my congiguration?

is your signal ok?

is arte maybe the one with not enough Signal + Quality

so your dish or kabel is the problem ?

I did a new CHANNEL SCAN and it seems to be OK now. They must have changed something recently. Thanks all for your help...
