I uploaded the help file for the DVBViewer COM Interface.

 

Some things aren't described completly for now but I keep on working on it.

 

Questions/suggestions as always are welcome.

I added an Update of the Interface Doku for the new DVBViewer Pro Version.

 

You can find it in the Membersarea -> sources.

hello lars,

 

i have a problem downloading the com interface doku:

the file seems to have no extension, it is named only 'DVBViewer'.

inside the file i found this text: 'DVBViewer COM Interface.chm', so i renamed it accordingly. but opening it still gives me an error: 'Cannot open the file: mk:@MSITStore:T:\Download\__new\DVBViewer COM Interface.chm'

 

nb: using firefox on winxp pro multilang eng sp2

found the problem.

 

it's a problem of firefox downloading files with spaces within but renaming them to the first part.

It's problematik to keep the overview, I think christian put ist somewhere in the downloadarea of www.DVBViewer.com. I check it out and try to get all in sync, as soon as I have a little more time

I updated the COM doku in the membersarea. Only minor changes in there.

 

Christian will update the docu on the Downloadpage of www.DVBViewer.com

Is it planned that the SDK will be a little bit more explained? What eventmsg's does exist? Which commands can i send via sendmessage? etc.

Would be great to have full up to date documentation/SDK. Since judging from some available sources there's a substantial amount missing from docs and from TLB.

I fully agree! I also would like to implement a COM based add on program. Unfortunately it´s very hard to use the COM interface because the documentation is very limited. I already spent a lot of time to figure out what the different classes and methods are doing.

 

So Hackbart and Lars please spend some time to fix this. Having more application available will also help DVBViewer!
