IRa Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 (edited) I have a problem. I don't get any picture or sound in 3.2.1 (same thing was also with 3.1.2) I have tried to install it to clean dirctory and also over 3.1. If i do it over 3.1 (first renaming old 3.1) 3.1 in the same directory works but without OSD. In its old separate directory 3.1 works OK. I have tried diffrent dircectX video adjustments and both airstar and flexcorp based card as device (airstar seems to be default), problem is also that changing setting usually makes hole program not responding and in several cases it must be stopped using task manager. Deleting setup.xml does not help. Teletext and EPG works OK and sometimes even mosaic has shown all channels in selected mux (not with current installation over 3.1) but nothing in the main window. WinXP+SP2, Radeon 9000 with latest drivers, AMD Athlon 2000, Via KT4 Ultra, Airstar2 DVBViewer.log side is 1,6Mb with error messages, I distroyed hundrets of messages from it while editing it for attachment. Guest Oliver Posted July 23, 2005 Posted July 23, 2005 You must delete some old uploads. BTW: You can compress the log-file with ZIP or RAR. Quote
IRa Posted August 1, 2005 Author Posted August 1, 2005 I finally get the picture in 3.2, decoder selection "auto" seem not be working like in 3.1 But 3.2 it is working very badly: Subtitles does not work at all (both teletext and DVB) OSD does not work PIP does not work (prewview plugin works OK) Mosaic does not work every time something is changed in setting menu the program must be restarted (often using taskmanager). I have tried all directshow settings and both airstar device and flexcorp based device. at the same time 3.1 works quite OK (from differnt directory) is there any help available ? Quote
hygrometrics Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I had the same problem (amongst another one). The system seems to be initialized to a non-existing or bad MPEG audio and video decoder. Try other choices in Options>DrectX for MPEG Video decoder and MPEG audio decoder. Hope this helps Quote

Hope this helps <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually that problem was solved after I unsinstalled the program using Windows add/remove programs from Conrol panel and after that deleted manually all releted folders and files and then reinstalled the 3.2.1. Afrter that everything has been working just fine. Quote
