connecting DVBViewer to Plex

It does appear to be possible to use the DVBViewer Recording Service as a source of live TV for Plex. However, the Plex interface is not very friendly! It gives a menu for a 'Channel scan' with some very technical options! I have stabbed in the dark and gotten a list of channels which is only about half those I have with DVBViewer. Any advice on adding the rest would be gratefully received.

Unfortunately the Plex capabilities as Sat>IP or IPTV client are very poor, as a web research reveales. You may need middleware like xTeVe / Threadfin in between, that is able to receive DVBViewer Media Server streams and simulates a HDHomerun tuner that can be accessed by Plex.
