DVB viewer and Skystar 1 CI

I have recently bought and installed a Skystar 1 CI. As I am not to happy with the OEM software (especially the manual) I am thinking about buying another DVB software. As I am also considering the DVBViewer, I wanted to ask if anyone does already have any experiences in operating the two together. In particularly, I would like to know if I have to remove the other OEM software from the system and if the DVBViewer itself is easy to setup (Astra 1 and Astra 2) ?

Thank you for any comments!

The SkyStar 1 CI should be the TwinHan CI DVBs (something about 100€ or cheaper) (NOT the Technisat one ~220€)

Since the latest Version 3.2.190 this modell is supported and supposed to be working without any problems :idiot: (in 3.1 it didn´t work properly)

The OEM Software can be installed on the PC, but you need to install the DVBViewer Pro in a new directory, otherwise you will run into problems.

Also, if you use the OEM version after isntalling the PRO, you have to execute a small programm in the 3.2.190 DIrectory), just have a small look in the manuall :D

The setup is quite simple.

Install, start, selecting your card (in the directX properties), the codec to be used, switch to a channel and enjoy the show ;)
