Harryo Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 I am trying to get my Twinhan Alpha USB 2.0 device up and running with DVBViewer ver:- 3.2.3.899, OS is Windows XP Professional SP2. Seeing that I'm based in the UK I am attempting to scan for UK digital terrestrial channels (Freeview) so far without success. In the channel scan menu there are three oblong boxes coloured red before commencement of scan and when I start a scan the first oblong box (marked PAT) changes colour to yellow during the scanning procedure. What exactly does PAT, PMT and SDT stand for? Cheers - Harry Quote

Harryo Posted September 22, 2005 Author Posted September 22, 2005 http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%2...ow.html#Display <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thank you for that URL, I did download "TransEdit" but forgot to download the accompanying manual. I have now downloaded the manual and will read it thoroughly. Harry Quote
Harryo Posted September 22, 2005 Author Posted September 22, 2005 I have tried running "TransEdit" a number of times but encounter an Error type message and the program locks-up. At least since downloading the manual for "TransEdit" I have a better understanding of some of the technical terms! Harry Quote
