cockers
Hi there, Hardware: VIA M2 1000 Mini-ITX mobo 512 RAM Onboard Graphics & Sound NEC USB2 controller VIA USB2 Controller Sigma Designs XCARD PCI Device Wireless PC Card Hauppauge WinTV Nova-t USB2 BDA receiver (using NEC USB2 Controller) - I added this controller after some reports of the VIA controller being less than stable. Software: XMEDIA Player WinTV2000 DVBViewer 3.2.3 TVedia 3.4 Progdvb 4.56.2 Problem: Select BDA device at options/directx Apply Select channelist/channel scan Select Terrestrial (EUR) - I am in the UK Scan Result: No channels found I have used all available tuning spaces from BDA Config, all with the same result. I have also tried the Transedit MMC scanner, to the same effect. I guess the Nova-T USB2 may have 'damn crappy driver', which would not be all that surprising, given my previous experience with Hauppauge products. If I use WinTV2000 to scan, it finds all available channels. Interestingly, If I use ProgDVB version 4.56.2, which has a beta BDA module, I am able to scan and view channels. However, it is not all that stable (BSOD's a fair bit), and is not a patch on DVBViewer. MPEGDecoder.txt Setup.xml DxDiag.txt Quote Link to comment
