musukebba Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Up until now I have been very impressed with DVBViewer (3.2.3.899), which I use with a Hauppauge Nova-T PCI (90002 chipset) to view and record UK Freeview transmissions. Recordings are excellent and I have had none of the glitchy behaviour experienced with WinTV2000 or other 3rd party apps such as MyTheatre or Media Portal. However, yesterday I clicked the 'mute' option in the context menu from the main screen, because I was doing something else with the computer, but left the application open. I later went back and set a recording from the EPG and ticked the box for 'disable AV' in the record settings, plus the 'Update' button to make the changes. Recording went OK. Now I cannot uncheck the 'mute' option, and of course there's no audio when viewing TV programmes. A cold restart will not shift it. Nothing in the manual about this, nor in the forum AFAICS. Any ideas? Hoping to avoid a reinstall and consequent channel scans... Setup.xml DVBViewer.log MPEGDecoder.txt Quote

musukebba Posted October 11, 2005 Author Posted October 11, 2005 (edited) erm have you tried to simply turn the volume up with the normal controls? You're right! It must have set to the minimum with the mouse-wheel. The tick disappears when the volume is increased. Many thanks! Edited October 11, 2005 by musukebba Quote
