Etienne
Hi, I've a problem with the multicast plugin. When I play a program on a satellite and when I select "Enable Streaming" in the multicast configuration panel there is 0kbps data rate in the out of the interface. I've completed the network id interface (if it is the IP address of my computer). I'ven't found a detailled documentation about this plugin. How does it works? How can I configure it to play a Mpeg video on my networks? Thanks a lot Etienne Quote Link to comment

Etienne
Hi, Currently, I'm using the multicast plugin. It correctly work but there is no RTP Header detected by VideoLan sofware. Is it normal ? Thanks Etienne Quote Link to comment
Guest Oliver
Well, the multicast plugin is no longer supported at all, since the DVBViewer Pro 2.5 (release date mid February) will feature a completely new server application which is remotely controlled by a DVBViewer client (that means, there's no longer a need for using 3rd party client software as VLC). The latter was a severe limitation of the multicast plugin. Bye, Oliver Quote Link to comment
Etienne
Ok,Thanks Oliver Will the DVBViewer 2.5 support RTP protocol (with RTCP) ? Thanks Etienne Quote Link to comment
Mr_Mirek
Hi, yesterday i've published the Multicast Plugin which allows to: 1. Broadcast the current channel (only video at the moment) 2. Broadcast all other channels available on the transponder This has been tested with Videolan (videolan.org), an own multicast sourcefilter (which is not complete) and the Moonlight Multicast Directshowfilter. The plugin is free for private use, commercial users should contact me first. Feel free to send some test results.. Christian <{POST_SNAPBACK}> HEY PLEASE GIVE ME THE LINK TO DOWNLOAD Multicast.dll Thanks Quote Link to comment

Tjod
The Multicast Plugin did not exist anymore. And the NetStream Plugin is part of the DVBViewer Setup. Quote Link to comment
