It looks like the Option has been removed in V5.0, though there's nothing in the changelog.

Yes, it is not possible to deactivate the OSD in version 5.x.

Why would you like to disable it?

Why would you like to disable it?

Reason, I am using only on my PC. I don't need OSD on my screen.. .It is interrupting / delay my video work..

Attention

If I am install V5.0.0.0 over V4.9.6.20 > Result OSD is still disable (Sup price)

When I make a new install, so delete the old setting before, then the OSD function disable is not available. So OSD can't disable any more.

Tip, for designers, Connect the OSD on the present of the IR remote control during the installation...

Thx Robert

I don't care for the OSD either, I spent a lot of time trying to find how to disable then saw this thread...just a small note in changelog would save people a lot of time.

how to completely disable OSD in version 5.1?

This is not working, disabling the OSD also disables the COM Plugin Interface and there are more unwanted side effects. To be honest there is absolutely no reason to disable it.

To disable the OSD and things which are connected to the OSD e.g. subtitles

start menu > DVBViewer > Support > Tweaker > Enable the OSD
