marder Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 Hello, I have a problem with subtitles on the BBC channels (for instance BBC1 London on Astra2 28°2, 10773 H). When I select View->Show Subtitles, the user interface stops to react (although the audio and video continue to be displayed) and the CPU usage goes to max. DVBViewer can only be stopped by a kill with the Task Manager. The Teletext is OK, as I can see the subtitle page (888) in the teletext window. Subtitles do work OK on some other channels. With those channels, a pop-up is opened to select the appropriate teletext page. Using DVBViewer 3.2.6.80, Skystar2 with 4.3.0 drivers. Quote Link to comment
Derrick Posted January 2, 2006 Share Posted January 2, 2006 ..dunno what's wrong today. IMHO, there were never that many bugs revealed on a single day I can confirm your description. Trying to open the subtitle menu will crash the DVBViewer-pro. I love the british subtitles and record them for my dvds. But I use the less shiny dvbviewer_GE which seems to be more thoroughly tested (and is almost perfectly dvb-compliant ) Quote Link to comment
