daffy
What is the strategy for formatting date-time output for display in DVBViewer? In the OSD Mini-EPG I currently see "Freitag 06. Januar". In the (non-OSD) EPG window I see "Fr 06.01" In my Windows XP user profile, regional settings have been configured such that * short date format: 06.01.2006 * long date format: Freitag, 6. Januar 2006 I am surprised that I see non-standard date output on screen? FWIW, I'd love to see "Freitag, 6. Januar 2006" in the Mini-EPG and "06.01.2006" in the EPG window, although I appreciate that this might cause some space problems. Quote Link to comment

daffy
<label>#Time.dddd_dd._mmmm</label> <-----!!!!! cd c:\programme\DVBViewer find osd-documentation.html --> error - osd-documentation.html not found Even though the above tells me without reading any docs that I need to start with #Time. and then follow up with a (supposedly) Delphi date-time format string where all white-space is replaced with underscores, nothing tells me how to say #Time.[system long date setting] (IOW, stick to the system default - and do not use a custom format - which is exactly what I think the majority of users across different cultures will want).
