gibman
Easy to reproduce. Start DVBserver up on PC1. PC2 connects to PC1 unicast style. Make sure that PC2 is showing audio video. Then reset or turn off PC2 (pull the powerplug). Now 1-2 hours later or whatever DVBserver is still reporting 1 client connected and is still broadcasting bytes as if there was no tomorrow. Now PC3 tries to connect to PC1 unicast style aswell. This works fine, although it can't change to other channels. PC2/client is still in transponder boss mode although PC2 has been offline for xx hours. DVBserver needs to close down connections for dead clients freeing up resources for other clients. I discovered this "feature" b/c my PC2 workstation didn't respond to mouse/keyb - so I had to do a hard reset. Later on (several houts) I tried to connect with another client, and u know the rest. client vers are; 3.2.6.80 (beta doesnt work with dvbserver as u know) dvbserver vers is; 3.2.5.50 /Elo Edited February 8, 2006 by gibman Quote Link to comment
