DVBServer and LNB

Hello.

I'm new to this forum because I purchased DVBViewer last week.

I have a Skystar2 and a Nova DVB-T connected to a pc which is always on and I'm using DVBServer to stream channels to my LAN PCs and everything seems to work correctly but I have some questions.

1. Is it safe to leave DVBServer always up and started or it is better to close it every time I don't need it? I'm asking this because I know that Skystar2 leaves LNBs powered by default and I'd like to turn them off when I'm not watching sat TV.

2. Is there an option to switch streaming device (in my case Skystar2 and Nova DVB-T) without doing it manually on DVBServer?

3. Is it possible to apply plugins directly to DVBServer or do I need to install them on every client?

Thank you,
