WINlirc + DVBviewer

Salut !

I am playing around with WINlirc and DVBViewer.

It is working quite well for some "standard" functions, but I have problems

to understand how to make more complex tasks to run.

e.g. I want to open the channellist, surf around there, then select a channel

and close it afterwards.

opening the list is not tha act, but how do I go down and up and enter folders

without selecting a channel? MTV quite far down. If I just want to select this one, it takes

hours with just CH+ and CH- !!!

P.S. yes I have searched the forum but I did not find it.

P.P.S: Is there a way to enter a channelnumber directly? (3 or 4-digits!?)

There is! Try to type a number (two or more digits, doesn't matter) when the main window is active - it will appear in the upper left corner of the TV picture, and after a short time the DVBViewer will switch over to the channel with that number. This should work with winlirc too.

In the channellist window you can find a channel with a certain number easily. First select the input line in the upper right corner. Enter the number and press Return. After that the desired channel wil be marked in the list.

Unfortunately there is no way to define keyboard & winlirc shortcuts for the channellist window - the shortcut stuff is managed by the main window, which doesn't get the keystrokes, when another window is active ("in front").
