rogerke Posted March 6, 2006 Share Posted March 6, 2006 hello all i got an old dvb-t receiver from my uncle, airstar usb personal video recorder from technisat. i got me a self-powered antenna and i live about 10km from the nearest sender-point, so i think it should work fine. in the server status window, i get over 90% reception all the time! however, i only get sound, no image. there are no errors or at least i don't see any. if anybody has an idea on why this could be, please help me! thank you! versions: server4pc: 4.32 DVBViewer: 4.3.2.208 Quote Link to comment

The CD version contains an MPEG decoder that must not be distributed via our website due to license agreements. Install it from your CD please. read this on the Technisat Webpage too. rogerke Posted March 8, 2006 Author Share Posted March 8, 2006 (edited) yeah, figured it out myself hehe. it's working now. only when i try multicast, my computer crashes, but that's probably because it's an old receiver and it can't handle multicast. anyway, it works great! another happy user and tnx for the help!
