Delphi
I have the following channels, sorted by sat + frequency 346: DR1, DR2, TV2 362: Canal+ Danmark, Canal+ Film 2 (dan), Canal+ Sport, C More Film, Canal+ Film 3 (dan) . . . In the 346 group (Free to Air (Cable?)) Preview and Mosaik works nice. I can even record all 3 channels at the same time I cannot do anything of that kind in the 362 group (Pay Channels, using CI/CAM/SmartCard). So my question is: Shouldn't I be able to that? If the answer is yes, then it is possible to record 5 movies at the same time !! I am using the latest beta version, since the pro doesn't support my hardware for pay channels. I have made a complete new installation, first of pro, then beta (and did it right this time ). No plugins. I know of another user in Denmark who has the same problem (TT Budget, DVB-S) If the answer is yes (I hope so), I shall post in the beta section including the support.zip, Right? Thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
Griga
Shouldn't I be able to that? No, you shouldn't. Usually CAMs are not able to decrypt more than one channel at a time. Thus watching/recording two or more channels from a transponder simultaneously is restricted to unencrypted broadcasts. Quote Link to comment
Derrick
Usually CAMs are not able to decrypt more than one channel at a time. A CI module could descramble more than one service simultaneously. The software is the limiting factor. Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
The software is the limiting factor. Yes in most cases the driver software. Quote Link to comment

Delphi
Thanks for the answers. I Have another question: In the 346 group there are actually 2 more encrypted channels (Pink Plus and Pink Extra). I cannot test those since I don't subscribe. Would it theoretically be possible to record simultaneously, say DR1, DR2, TV2 and Pink Plus ? Thanks in advance EDIT: I have an aditional question: I have bought another FireDTV and one more subscription to the same channels. (Easy to install, and works as expected ). Would it theoretically be possible to simoustaneously record all the channels DR1, DR2, TV2, Pink Plus and Pink Extra ? Edited May 21, 2006 by Delphi Quote Link to comment
