gabier
Hello everybody Sorry for English, but I am not good at all when writing in German. I would like to use DVBViewer with a Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T-USB2. The official compatibility list does not mention it. It mentions only WinTV-Nova-T-PCI. But Hauppauge specialists told me that DVBViewer works now with Nova-T-USB2. So I downloaded the DVBViewer free edition to find out and clicked on "setup.exe". Well now, the setup exits with the error message : "The card driver must be installed before installing the application software....." The driver is indeed installed for it works with the native Hauppauge viewer/recorder WinTV2000. My question is : is there a special setup procedure for standalone DVB-T tuners or does DVBViewer definitely not support Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T-USB2 ? Gabier Quote Link to comment

gabier
It works.Go to settings->options->DirectX and change current device to Hauppauge. And Viola' On pro version that is Patrick, Thank you for your advice. At the moment I have no "settings" menu as DVDViewer cannot install itself. Do you mean it does not install because the free edition is the Technisat edition ? And that if I buy the regular edition I can be sure that it will work ? Gabier Quote Link to comment
