gumpster
I have tried to find setup instructions for the http server to no avail. I have unzipped all the files into the inetpub/wwroot directory (I am using XP Pro), run the httpserver.exe file and noted the port and the IP address in the .ini file. I can see the graphics in IE and Firefox but all functionality placeholders are enclosed in curly brackets {}. Can someone please point me to an idiots guide to setting this up? (if it is relevant I use a Linksys WRT54G router). Many thanks, Gary Quote Link to comment
Klausing
Maybe you can read a little bit German or the pictures are enough: http://www.dvbviewerfaq.de/index.php?actio...=229&artlang=de DVBWebserver dont need any other application Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
This is a standalone webserver. Please do not put it into the IIS folders! Start it, change the port to your liking (i.e. 8080, something not beeing occupied by the IIS) activate it and connect via http://yourIP:8080 The User and Passwort are "admin" you should change them in the settings available on the webpage. gumpster
Thank you very much for your help - it works! What a fantastic program. I have one small problem, I am only able to select 6 channels from approx 30 I have in my Channel list in DVBViewer. Are there any settings I am missing? Many thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
Well you have the channellist on the right hand in the remote control, there should be all channels available and all other pages only show channels with EPG. Quote Link to comment
gumpster
Thank you - I really appreciate your help. For some reason the channel list took a little while to populate but now it all works. What fantastic functionality - I can even program from my PSP browser wirelessly! Many thanks, Gary. Quote Link to comment
