mlehtola
Hi, I don't know if there are many users like me who has 2 identical devices on the same pc. Anyway, just found out this quite interesting thing about Cinergy T2: BDA-driver 2.3.0.24: Windows 2000 and DVBViewer 3.4.12.1 beta seems not to work with it when 2 devices attached. Can use just one device without DVBViewer crash. Hard to say is it DVBViewer or Windows fault. Funny thing here is that Terratec's software (Home Cinema) including this new driver has multi device support... BDA-driver 2.3.0.23: works just fine Windows can't handle two devices that are using the same driver or DVBViewer can't handle something in the new BDA-driver? Quote Link to comment
Guest Lars_MQ
Windows can't handle two devices that are using the same driver or DVBViewer can't handle something in the new BDA-driver? Since BDA IS a standard in Windows and DVBViewer is using only this standard and several BDA Devices do work, it's most likely a Terratec Driver problem. Quote Link to comment
mlehtola
That's my 1st guess as well. Can't trust windows that much either...I found some articles about this kind of situations when you have 2 same usb devices...it might be very problematic. I understood that XP handles it little bit better. Quote Link to comment
