many OSD functions, not avail in windowed mode ?

Hi!

When I sit infront of my PC and I want to watch/edit a timer I often find myself doing it by the aid of the web interface. The OSD is too heavy to use, exept when I am at my TV with my remote - then OSD is kewl :)

We already have the EPG button on the DVBViewer toolbar.

This gives us "EPG, whats on now, Timeline."

But I really miss a tab specifically for timers. Giving me the same functionality as the OSD timer gives me.

The same goes for recordings. Need a windowed mode for this as well.

Maybe some of the stuff in htpcHome.

What's wrong with DVBViewer -> Record Settings... ?

Right. That's missing.

I guess I didn't expect the Record settings in the left-most menu - I assumed it would be a button on the toolbar - just like EPG is. But now I know its there :)

I know about the web server - thats why I mentioned it in my initial post.

Yes, I noticed this and deleted this comment from my post laster :)

An additional remark regarding the missing recording list:

If you work in Windows Mode you can use DVBViewer -> Open Video. The file selection shows all your recordings in chronological order with date and name (if you use the default naming for recordings) and if you want all other playable video files, that were not recorded with DVBViewer.

IMHO no need for this.

Besides, I normally do all recordings in MPG-Format and use VLC for instant video playback in Windows Mode :bye:

The files are stored on network drives and I access them from different computers. DVBViewer database is useless for network environments.
