DVB Viewer Pro - Getting up and running

Hi,

 

I recently purchased DVBViewer Pro 3.5 Beta.

 

I have the following BDA device:

Found BDA device: WinFast DTV 1000T BDA DVB-T Tuner/Demod (Thomson DTT7579)

 

When I start up the program, i see an error message "No Hardware Found". When I go to Settigns--> Options --> Hardware. I can see my card listed. I've tried every possible combination of settings, yet I cannot make it work... whenever the program loads it always says "No hardware found"

 

Can anyone suggest what I migth try to get it to work?

Do a channelscan. the default channellist ist SAT only.

It only works if my Reception Type is "Cable".

 

Can anyone tell me what the "symbolrates" are? Since it seems to matter in finding the channels.

 

Does anyone else have this reception type and getting the UK freeview channels? I'm also really interested in getting the HD trials...
