retro
I have one problem with teletext subtitles: Start DVBViewer Select channel with subtitles -> No subtitles shown Subtitle selection context menu shows correctly teletext page 699 selected Select already selected subtitle pages again -> Subtitles start showing correctly Any more information needed? This is a quote from the Beta-forum, but its still valid in the 3.5.0 version. In short, DVBViewer won't remember the subtitles previously selected. Perhaps isn't the end of the world when flipping channels, but also means a scheduled recording looses the subs..now that's a big problem..! Can we hope for a fix in the upcoming betas/versions.. ..? Derrick
Why don't you use TS_recording? Imho it's more flexible cos you can record all elementary streams.. Quote Link to comment
retro
True, that works as far as getting the subtitles on a scheduled recording. But that doesn't really solve the bug..its just a workaround.. And it doesn't help at all when switching live tv-channels. Up here in the cold Nordic, many, or most, of our channels use teletext-subs. This includes all Canal Digital and Viasat channels. It really is a bit annoying to have to get into the DVBViewer menus to select subtitles each time we switch channels.. But I'm sure you're working on it..right.. Quote Link to comment
blackburn_
This really shouldn't be too difficult to correct since the subtitles are working fine, they just need to be reactivated after a channel change. Can we hope that this will be fixed in the next (beta) release? Any kind of feedback that it's being looked at would be appreciated of course Quote Link to comment
