Custom bitrates in DVBServer

Hi!

 

I have tried to search around but found no way to lower the bitrate in dvbserver.

I guess I could just hook up the stream using VLC or something like that but then i'd loose the amazing OSD and channelchange/control stuff.

 

Is there a way to reencode the stream sent from dvbserver but still controll the server using dvbclient?

This would be perfect for when traveling and using the laptop at a hotel.

The Bitrate can not be changed. It is the same bitrate the tv-stations transmit. no recoding or transcoding possible and/or wanted. Use the webserver with the asfplugin if you want other bitrates (oh and a really big and fast pc if you want to do other things besides transcoding with it ).
