Kenjar_ Posted August 16, 2006 Share Posted August 16, 2006 Hi, I purchased DVBViewer and DVBServer, and am trying to setup my main server to stream TV across my wireless network so I can view TV on my laptop out in the guarden. But I seriousally have no idea what I'm doing, do I need a plugin for a Hauppauge Win-TV Nova-T card or something because I can't get a picture in the software. Are there specific instructions on how to setup DVB Server and DVBViewer to work in this way? Quote Link to comment

owngoal Posted October 6, 2006 Share Posted October 6, 2006 I am also having problems with streaming. I have set up the server and client as described. Everything looks ok - the clinet autodetects the server setting, the server reports communication with the client. On the client I get the channel program listings as I change channel but I get no audio or visuals. I feel I'm very close but just cannot get it to work. BTW I have an AverMedia Hynrid Cardbus on the server - DVBViewer works standalone. Network is 100mbps wired. I have also tried installing PowerDVD v7 to try it for decoding - but still no success .... any ideas how to get the audiovisuals working ? Quote Link to comment
