wild_thing
Hi Hackbart, the relictEPG-Plugin for ProgDVB uses the windos built-in task planner (task scheduler, or whatever it is called in English Windows versions) for scheduling a recording. With this it is possible to go to standby - mode or hibernate. When the scheduled time arrives, the computer is woken up, and starts the programm and starts recording. Thus it is not necessary to leave the computer switched on for the whole night or the whole weekend when you want to record a movie. Would be nice, to have support of windows task planner from within DVBViewer as well... cu, Markus Quote Link to comment
Guest hackbart
Yes, there should be quite simple ways to do this. The smartest way is writing some plugin, which handles this. If somebody wants to do this i would be pleased, otherwise i code some scheduler which will be put as open source somewhere on the download section.. Christian Quote Link to comment
wild_thing
Hi Christian, Thanks for your fast reply. Would be nice to have this recording feature. And, of course, the corresponding feature, that sends the PC to resume after the recording... Will buy a version of DVBViewer right now... Markus Quote Link to comment
